As a Product Designer at Mariana Tek, I led design for the company's first appointments feature, expanding the platform beyond class-based booking. As the sole designer on the initiative, I worked across multiple teams to shape how studios configure, sell, and manage services, and how consumers discover, book, and manage appointments.

The consumer schedule expanded beyond classes to support new services like personal training, and recovery offerings.

Mariana Tek had long supported class-based scheduling, but studios also needed a way to offer services like personal training and recovery appointments. Appointments introduced a new operational model to the platform, helping studios manage one-on-one and small-group services within the same ecosystem.

Boutique fitness studios do not offer appointments in just one format. The experience was designed to support a wide range of services, from personal training and private pilates to sauna and guided recovery sessions, while keeping setup and booking intuitive across web and mobile.

The feature had to work across both sides of the business: internal staff managing schedules, availability, and setup, and consumers browsing and booking services. Designing across both touchpoints helped ensure the experience felt connected from studio operations to checkout.
